Best Practices

  • Professional Tone: LinkedIn is a professional network, so maintain an appropriate tone
  • Hashtags: Use 3-5 relevant hashtags to increase post visibility
  • Mentions: Tag relevant people or companies with @ to increase engagement and reach
  • First Lines Matter: The first 2-3 lines are visible before "see more", so make them compelling
  • Engagement: Ask questions or include calls-to-action to encourage comments
  • Timing: Post on weekday mornings (Tuesday-Thursday, 8-10 AM) for best engagement
  • Document Posts: LinkedIn's document carousel format can be very effective for longer-form content
  • Native Content: LinkedIn's algorithm favors native content over external links
